Welcome to the Building Better Leaders site, home of Art Petty’s training and mentoring services.  Art and the team at Building Better Leaders work with professionals below the “V” or “C” levels to support their development as leaders and senior contributors.

Our clients are typically highly motivated individual contributors or mid-level managers focused on increasing their contributions to their organizations and to growing their careers.

Senior Contributor is our way of describing an individual that is actively working to develop his or her skills for leading, critical and strategic thinking, executive presence and operational execution. These skills are all critical to climbing the ladder and ultimately breaking through to a “V” or “C” level role.

How We Help:

We work with individuals and groups to create personalized, sustained professional development programs that blend training, workplace application of core concepts, feedback and on-going mentoring.

Programs are typically conducted through a combination of distance learning tools plus personal mentoring (telephone or teleconference) and for groups, periodic workshop and live forums.  Note: delivery methods vary by program-see the individual program description for specifics.
